The 2010 Sterling Group lecture tour to India took place from Thursday 8 April to Tuesday 13 April inclusive.  There were eight tour party members.

The tour concentrated on Chennai and Bengaluru (Bangalore) with detailed arrangements, as usual, being handled by the British Council.  The tour party visited 18 universities and colleges, eleven in Chennai and seven in Bengaluru.  One event, at Anna University in Chennai, was attended by over 700 students.

Evening receptions were held in both Chennai and Bengaluru and several press interviews were given.
